Bruce Springsteen announces Glasgow date for UK tour
The Boss lands in Glasgow on June 1, in between two shows in Dublin and one in Coventry. Springsteen, 66, has scheduled further gigs in London and Manchester.
The tour, which was expanded following huge demand, is in support of The Ties That Bind: The River, a special four-disc reoease that marks the 35th anniversary of Springsteen’s 1980 classic, The River.

Hide AdSpeaking to Rolling Stone about the tour, Springsteen said: “We stand toe-to-toe with any version of our band that’s been out there. It’s a richer experience now because there is so much material to draw from. And that shared history you have with people makes the night very full, very beautiful.”
Springsteen last played Hampden nearly three years ago, a gig the Scotsman’s David Pollock described as “at once vital and universally relevant.”
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday 25 February from 9am.
