Semi-final spots up for grabs

The Dechmont Forklift League Cup group games come to a conclusion tonight with two of the semi-final spots already secured.

Camelon, the holders, sealed their place on Monday night, with Bo'ness taking their spot after last night's 5-0 trouncing of Dalkeith, recent signing David Love scoring a brace after coming on as a substitute in the second half.

Section three sees leaders Spartans Juniors face Newtongrange, who themselves are still in with a shout of winning the group. A win for the Star and a draw between Linlithgow and Armadale would see Newtongrange through. Linlithgow, last season's beaten finalists, face Armadale needing to win by one more goal than Spartans to take the top spot. Armadale will be without top striker Lee Johnstone, who has been transfered to Bathgate.
