Scotland move up to seventh in world rankings after Pumas win
Scotland started the match in ninth spot, one place behind the Argentines, and were expected to swap places with the Pumas after beating them. But Australia’s 25-23 win in Paris means the Scots go above France into seventh.
Scotland finish off their Autumn Series against Georgia in Kilmarnock on Saturday and are assessing a number of players.

Hide AdA Scotland team spokesman said: “Huw Jones sustained a foot injury in the act of creating Sean Maitland’s try. The midfielder had a scan after the game and will be re-assessed early in the week.
“Three players sustained dead legs in the match – hooker Fraser Brown, lock Grant Gilchrist and replacement centre Pete Horne – all of whom will require medical management this week.
“Several other players are showing the signs of a physical contest and will require ongoing care and management as the week progresses.”
