Golf: Dick and Co head north in bid to clinch national title
The Kingsknowe man earned a first Scotland cap in the Home Internationals after winning the Lothians Championship earlier in the year.
He also teamed up with Craig Elliot, David Ewen and Michael Kanev to claim Carrickvale's first success in the Lothians Team Tournament.

Hide AdAnd, along with Elliot and Ewen, Dick is now hoping to add the Scottish title at Fortrose & Rosemarkie on Sunday.
"A win this weekend would definitely be the icing on the cake," he admitted.
Carrickvale's opponents on Sunday include three-times winners Cowglen (Glasgow) as well as two-time Scottish champions Tulliallan (Clackmannanshire).
Other clubs in the line-up are Selkirk (Borders), Gourock (Renfrewshire), Powfoot (South), Windyhill (Dumbartonshire), Murcar Links (North East), Glenbervie (Stirlingshire), Loudon Gowf (Ayrshire), Crow Wood (Lanarkshire), Ballumbie Castle (Angus), Moray (North), Blairgowrie (Perthshire) and St Andrews (Fife). "It is fabulous for a small council club like Carrickvale to be playing in an event like this," added Dick, who is hoping a visit to Fortrose & Rosemarkie for a foursomes event along with Ewen last year will stand them in good stead.
"It's a tighter version of the Braids on the coast - there is danger everywhere," said the three-time Dispatch Trophy winner.
Played over 36 holes, the two best scores from each team of three count and the prize for the winners is the chance to represent Scotland in the European Club Championship.
"That takes place close to the time my wife Gillian is due to give birth to our first child so I'll need to talk nicely to her if we win on Sunday," declared Dick.
