Musselburgh fight back for valuable point
Musselburgh had a Kris Renton effort controversially ruled out for offside after ten minutes. Just after the half-hour mark and against the run of play Carnoustie went ahead when ’Burgh keeper Ally Adams was dispossessed inside the box and Josh Perera calmly slotted the ball home.
Two minutes later they increased their lead when Michael Milravey latched on to a cross ball to shoot home at the back post. Five minutes before the break Musselburgh got themselves back into the match when Ollie Russell got on the end of a Paul Tansey cross to score at the back post.
