Why one of this season's Scottish Premiership stars is someone we didn't see coming
Ross Callachan moved to Hamilton Accies last summer in a move that was so fitting it was almost comical: a committed yet technically-suspect player joining a squad full of footballers worthy of such description. It was expected he’d do a job, nothing more, and Accies would finally be relegated.
That may still happen, but it certainly not if Callachan has his say. He has 12 league goals and assists combined and is playing the best football of his career.

Regardless of what happens to his club, he’s final proved himself a worthy top-flight talent. Fair play.
