FEYENOORD have reportedly offered made an official offer for Celtic striker John Guidetti.

Rumblings in the Dutch media over the past couple of months suggested that Feyenoord were keen to bring the Swede back to the Eredivisie, after his 20 goals in 23 matches during a loan spell in 2011/12.

And Voetbal International reported on Monday that Feyenoord had made an offer to the 22-year-old striker but conceded the Manchester City forward’s wage demands may price them out of a move.

Last month, Guidetti hinted at a return to the Netherlands in an interview with a Dutch TV station, saying: “I want to go back to Feyenoord, and perhaps as soon as possible.”

And the Swedish forward has also been linked with Marseille and Southampton in the past.
