A perfect day for Loeb and Citroen in Bulgaria

RALLYING: Sebastien Loeb extended his lead at the top of the World Rally Championship by completing a comfortable victory on the Rally of Bulgaria as Citroen locked out the top four positions.

The six-time world champion had entered the final day with a handy cushion of 40.5 seconds over factory teammate Dani Sordo, and he secured a 16th consecutive victory on asphalt rallies by a margin of 29.5secs. Loeb's win, the 58th of his career, saw him open up a 51-point lead over Sebastien Ogier at the top of the drivers' championship. "It's been perfect, a very good first day and it was important to keep the rhythm," said Loeb.
