West End debut for ex-EastEnders star

FORMER EastEnders star Kara Tointon is to make her West End debut after being cast as Eliza Doolittle in an acclaimed production of Pygmalion.

She will star alongside Rupert Everett in the play which opens at London's Garrick Theatre in May in which Professor Higgins (Everett) attempt to pass off Cockney flower girl Doolittle as a society lady.
