Body found in hunt for missing Stirling woman

POLICE investigating the disappearance of a woman who has been missing for almost two months have discovered a body.

Christine Henley, 49, was last seen in the St Ninians area of Stirling on Wednesday November 26.

A woman’s body was found at a piece of wasteland adjacent to Stirling Railway Station at around 1.55pm yesterday.

The discovery was made by a member of the public who called police.

Investigations are under way to establish the woman’s identity and determine the circumstances surrounding her death.

Police said Ms Henley’s family have been told about the discovery and will be kept fully updated with the progress of the inquiry.
