Think-tank battle
How anyone in Scotland is supposed to believe a report coming from a think-tank co-founded by Margaret Thatcher is beyond me.
In the same piece, the same tired reportage on the “flight of banks and financial institutions” from Scotland in the event of a Yes vote is also re-iterated, entirely ignoring the evidence in a letter from an RBS spokesman and other sources stating categorically that that would not be the case.

Hide AdGiven that The Scotsman has openly stated it is in support of a No vote, there’s now little reporting in this newspaper that can be viewed as impartial or even attempting to state the case for both sides of the debate.
I hope the truth will eventually prevail and we will have a resounding Yes victory on Thursday, flying in the face of the underhand tactics employed by opposition in the media.
