In the past we have had time wasters, seat warmers and careerists pretending to represent us; it seems that in Scotland we have at last got wise to the usual rag bag of party apparatchiks.
The fear engendered in the London establishment reminds of those lines from Burns: “Wee sleekit cow’rin tim’rous beasties oh whit panics’ in thy breisties”.
