No money trees
Nicola Sturgeon knows that, sadly, money trees do not exist, so her party can only deliver the additional services she promises her supporters if she raises taxes and increases borrowing in Scotland.
She now has the levers to do this.
I cannot help wondering, however, if the Scottish people, (even those she actually represents) will continue to support her party if taxes are increased and if, as a result of increased borrowing, our children and grandchildren are left to pay off additional debt.
