Lady Gaga and ex settle legal fight

A LEGAL battle between pop sensation Lady Gaga and her former producer and lover has ended.

Rob Fusari had sued his one-time protege, below, for more than $30 million, claiming he was instrumental to her success but unable to profit from it when their romance ended.

He contended in his March lawsuit that he was a key figure in transforming the ambitious young woman named Stefani Germanotta into the pop phenomenon she is today.

Gaga countersued days later, alleging the early agreement she had with Fusari was illegal.

Both suits were dismissed by the New York State Supreme Court and the decision has now been made public.

A spokeswoman for Gaga said the double Grammy Award winner and Fusari "agreed to end their dispute amicably and wish each other well".

Fusari is a Grammy Award-winning producer and co-writer of a number of songs on Lady Gaga's debut album The Fame.
