Inquiry after body discovered in burn

AN INVESTIGATION was launched yesterday after a man was found dead in a burn. The body was discovered at around 2:30pm near Laburnum Road in Uddingston.

The burn is not far from Strathclyde Business Park. Police are treating the death as unexplained. A spokeswoman said: "A post-mortem will be carried out in due course."
