A woman who went missing yesterday, sparking a helicopter search has been found.

Debbie Drysdale, from Gorebridge, has last been seen at 4pm yesterday.

Officers used a helicopter over Gorebridge, Bonnyrigg and Newtongrange to help search for her.

She was found by ambulance crews at 8.30am this morning in the Newlandrig area of Gorebridge, where she was then taken for assessment at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
