Farm plays name game

Gorgie City Farm is giving local residents the chance to name a flock of orphan lambs.

The six foundlings accompany three two-week-old sheep born on the farm. They were delivered to Gorgie last week in a cardboard box and are less than five days old.

Those keen to enter the STV competition to suggest names for the lambs can do so on the broadcaster's website.

Farm manager Sarah Brown said: "The mothers of the three born on the farm are just referred to as 'Mummy One' and 'Mummy Two'.

"They're being bottle-fed and enjoying the warmth of a heat lamp."
