Eco-friendly day on offer

A DAY of eco-friendly events for the family is promised at Cramond promenade on Thursday.

The event will include guided walks to Cramond Island, a bike doctor workshop, tours of the Roman fort and a dog agility challenge.

The fire service, police and coastguard will be there to meet the public, along with the city council's environmental wardens and countryside rangers.

There will also be the chance to find out about volunteering opportunities, adopting green spaces and promoting biodiversity.

It is organised by the Almond Neighbourhood Partnership with help from the North West Eco Club.
