Car flipped onto roof in Gogar roundabout crash

A CAR was flipped onto its roof at one of the Capital’s major roundabouts earlier today after the driver lost control.

Police, fire crews and medics rushed to the scene of the accident at Gogar roundabout after receiving emergency calls at around 10.30am.

They found a BMW on its roof with the driver and one passenger - both female - still inside.

However, police said neither occupant had sustained serious injuries.

The overturned vehicle caused some slow-down in traffic flow but was cleared from the road by noon, officers added.
