Biologists set for city talks

THE world's largest gathering of scientists researching the functioning of biological systems is set to take place in the Capital.

The International Conference in Systems Biology, running from October 11-14 at the EICC, will host around 1000 delegates from around the world.

Dr Steven Watterson, from the Centre for Systems Biology at Edinburgh University, said: "It's an annual conference that has been held in Yokohama, California and Sweden."
