'˜Joint venture' launches kneepads for tradespeople
Vicky Hamilton from Gourock came up with Recoil Kneepads, which are made in Edinburgh, after listening to Gordon complain about his sore knees at the dinner table.
She said: “None of the kneepads he had tried were helping, and it suddenly clicked that I could create something that would improve life for him and other tradespeople.

In June last year the 25-year-old secured £65,000 from the Scottish Edge fund to bring Recoil to life, and backing has also come from the Scottish Institute for Enterprise and the Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards.
