Isle of Arran Distillers has cheered its 2015 results, with a 25 per cent jump in net profit, driven by 16 per cent growth in brand sales and visitor numbers to Lochranza increasing by 19,000 from 2014.

“In a market perceived to have stalled, the results offer a more positive view of the category and a reflection of changing market dynamics,” the company said, adding that its profits have grown 130 per cent since 2010 and it is pursuing ongoing investment.
