Blackadders presses ahead with further acquisition

Legal firm Blackadders has further expanded with the takeover of Angus practice Marjory MacDonald Solicitors.

The merged business will have 24 partners and more than 240 staff and will trade under the Blackadders LLP banner.

In the past year, the Dundee-headquartered firm has acquired Condies of Perth and Adam Cochran & Co of Aberdeen. It now has offices in Aberdeen, Arbroath, Dundee, Edinburgh, Forfar and Perth.

Blackadders managing partner Johnston Clark said: “We are continuously working to expand and improve our service to clients and the merger with Marjory MacDonald Solicitors will assist us in this.”
