For music fans, there’s festivals on Arran, Gigha, Mull and Tiree to name but a few while the islands’ traditional Highland Games remain a strong pull for visitors.
A growing interest in running has seen a growth in festivals with Scotland’s islands, home to some of the world’s most spectacular scenery, now staging a number of long distance events.

Hide AdA number of unique festivals are also being staged this year including Loch Fyne Viking Festival, Colonsay Rugby Festival and the Coll of the Sharks Festival.
