The film by Walid Salhab, a media lecturer at Queen Margaret University, begins with shots of the capital from Fife and the Firth of Forth. The majority of the film thereafter captures the city – including Edinburgh’s Princes Street – under gilded blue skies.

Titled My Edinburgh, the two-minute long clip has been viewed more than 25,000 times on Vimeo alone.
